overview.

At Time Out Israel, I worked at the intersection of design and editorial, shaping weekly print issues that celebrated Tel Aviv’s culture. The design had to be sharp, expressive, and instantly recognisable as part of the global Time Out family, while also feeling uniquely local.

Role.

As Head Designer, I led the visual direction for every issue, from page layouts and typography systems to imagery and cover concepts. Collaborating closely with editors and writers, I translated fast-turnaround stories into bold, dynamic layouts that captured the energy of the city.

learnings.

Working in print journalism honed my discipline and speed. I learned to balance creativity with precision under relentless deadlines, maintain visual consistency across dozens of pages, and collaborate fluidly with editorial teams. It cemented my eye for hierarchy, pacing, and storytelling, foundations that continue to influence my approach to brand and campaign design today.
