GENTLE MAMA JOURNEY / BRAND IDENTITY

challenge.

During maternity leave and the height of the pandemic, I found myself unexpectedly distanced from our small Bondi café and from the creative rhythm that had always grounded me. Between endless feeds, sleepless nights, and the newness of motherhood, I needed a gentle outlet to feel like I was still creating and contributing.


Out of that quiet chaos, Gentle Mama Journey was born, a way to express my passion for gentle parenting and connect with other mothers navigating the same messy, beautiful transition.

Gentle Mama Journey is a brand and content series built around softness in both tone and form. The visual identity blends earthy neutrals and sun-washed tones with delicate typography and organic shapes, evoking calm, connection, and warmth.


I designed the logo, colour palette, and social content to feel intentional but effortless a reflection of motherhood itself. The voice was nurturing, honest, and occasionally cheeky, a space where real mums could feel seen rather than judged.

impact.

While small in scale, the project became a meaningful creative anchor during a deeply transformative season of my life. It reminded me that creativity doesn’t always need a client or a deadline, sometimes it’s simply about creating space for yourself. Gentle Mama Journey helped me reconnect with my creative voice and my sense of self, one nap-time at a time.
